So, as I’ve mentioned before, I am capable of consulting you all on a series of matters and topics. Not because I’m superman (well maybe because of that also) but because I am in contact with a large network of people that specialize in each individual area.
Today, we are going to talk about technology, and I just want to let you know about my background in this space. My experience in technology mainly focuses on everything that has to do with online things so in simple words: the Internet. I am someone that simply geeks out on every new social media feature or anything like that and really just love the way our world is evolving around us. In fact, by taking advantage of technology and its amazing capabilities, I have spent a decent amount of time doing marketing work online. The space is mentioned as “digital marketing” but I like to call it online promotions.
I know there are many small businesses and business owners out there, trying to boost their sales by utilizing the awesome tool that is: the Internet. So I just want to let you know, that if you got any questions at all regarding marketing, search engine optimization or even the simple website questions, I am here for you. Specifically, I know quite a few things about keyword marketing and research which all focuses around SEO. Google is perhaps the greatest asset you can have working for you. If you are in a competitive space, trying to get ahead of the pack and you get Google in your back pocket – you are golden my friend! Everyone, basically goes to that search engine to find answers. Heck, you may have ended up on my website because of Google! The point is, there are ways for you to “game” the algorithmic system of Google (in a good way) to make sure the type of results that pop up for a given keyword, are your site’s. This way you can take advantage of all that traffic coming to your website (the audience reaching your website) and get more customers. It is really a way of avoiding a budget for google advertisement.
Another important aspect of your marketing should be social media: everyone is spending time on Facebook or Instagram nowadays so learning how to engage your customers via those platforms is critical for the success of your business. I am not going to make this post about marketing or digital promotion, but I just want to let you know that I am available to discuss any topic related to that.
In terms of regular technology that we see being advanced in our lives, I enjoy reading all about the efforts and projects regarding trying to bring a greener future for America. I mean I don’t care who you voted for in the November elections or who is in office, preserving the future of our children and other generations is as important as reducing our national debt. Imagine a debt free country that can not support its ecosystem – it’s horrible. So with that said, I just want to let you know that I am knowledgeable of the efforts being placed by Tesla’s genius: Elon Musk along with other people that are really trying to make a difference but didn’t have the chance to be on TV or on the spot light. I like clean energy and I also love that idea of taking advantage of wind power and solar. I mean imagine an auto industry based entirely on solar: wouldn’t that be amazing? I mean solar energy is already being wasted on us every single day…why not take advantage of it? It’s a renewable type of energy. So I have studied a few more things about the technology used to enhance the resources nature has given us.
Regarding technology that will help the lives of people in more disadvantaged situations, I love what Bill Gates is doing with the water in Africa. He is literally transforming poop water, into drinking water. We are talking about a continent that really can use all the water it has. To be able to re use water instead of leaving it dry up, is an amazing accomplishment of mankind, and I am just so glad people are spending their lives (and fortunes) on improving the lives of other people. As I’ve mentioned, my goal on this site is to be able to help out you and your life in some way through my advice. So whenever I see people doing good, I just tear up (honestly.) The kind of filters used in that poop – clean water transformation is so advanced and the greatest part is: it can still maintain the minerals and vitamins water has. So not only are the children in Africa able to quench their thirst, but they can also live lives that are healthier and thus: improve their communities. Helping each other can go such a long long way…
Other technology I love observing is in regards to electronics. Apple is the absolute beast in electronics and what they’ve achieved is incredible. A smart watch? Go back in time in the days of the cave men, and try convincing them that they could tell time and even speak to that watch to communicate with other cave people in nearby villages. I mean they would probably burn you alive. All the microchip work done over in Silicon Valley really deserves all the credit. I had a very close friend of mine that works there explain to me in a couple of hours the type of work they do: it’s amazing you wouldn’t even believe it!
So yes…technology is one of my strong suites. I probably won’t be able to consult your company on becoming qualified for acquisition by Apple. But if you have any concerns about technology, I am happy to discuss them with you.
